Project Brief:
The Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC) has been constituted in the year 2014 under the provisions of Article 243K read with Article 243ZA of the Constitution of India. Under these articles, the superintendence, direction, and control of the preparation of electoral rolls for the conduct of all elections to Panchayat Raj bodies and Municipal bodies in the State shall be vested in the State Election Commission.
The main objectives of this project are effective utilization of Information and Communication Technology(ICT) initiatives for (i) Online Generation of Electoral rolls for use of Municipal and Panchayat Raj department officers (ii) Online generation of Voter slips for use of Citizen (iii) effective monitoring of Election process (iv) Effective utilization of Polling personnel using Randomization techniques as per rules of TSEC.
Online Election Process Management System (OEPMS) software consists of following modules:
- Generation of Electoral Rolls & Voter slips module
- Randomization module for allocation of polling personnel
